A complete furniture, lighting and finishes collection for The Lennon in Cape Town. We designed it so every apartment reads as part of one interior, while each one still works for the way it will be lived in.

Designed like a hotel. Lived like home.
The Lennon needed a hotel’s consistency without a hotel’s anonymity. We designed one master collection for the building, covering upholstery, casegoods, rugs, lighting, window treatments, bathroom mirrors, artwork and accessories. Then we worked back from it, apartment by apartment.

A prescribed package for each unit type
Each unit type has its own base furniture package, planned around its layout, its scale and how the space needs to function. Where a piece couldn’t sit comfortably in a room, we left it out rather than forcing it in. Buyers can add two optional upgrades: a decorative accessories package and a textured wallpaper. Both are specified to the same palette, so nothing added later pulls away from the whole. The accessories package is offered only as a complete set. That keeps the look cohesive, and pricing on full quantities keeps it efficient for the buyer.

Decisions made for use
Much of the collection answers a practical question. Several bedrooms pair a custom upholstered king headboard with two single bases, so the beds can stand apart or be pushed together depending on who is staying. Every custom artwork carries a clear matte coating that resists UV, moisture and fingerprints without adding glare. The wallpaper is a textured vinyl, chosen because it cleans easily, and the roller blinds use a PVC-free matte fabric.

The palette stays warm and grounded: matte stained timber veneer with solid edging, bouclé and textured weaves, and hand-tufted rugs with carved detailing. Light fittings are alabaster, bronze and linen. On the terraces, the cast concrete tables are pigmented light grey and terracotta. A single burgundy accent runs through the building, in contrast piping, a desk lamp trim and a powder-coated side table.

Made in South Africa
Almost every piece was custom manufactured for The Lennon, by local makers wherever possible. The baskets are woven by hand by South African weavers, so no two are the same.

Delivered finished
Our scope didn’t end at specification. Each complete package is delivered, unpacked, placed and styled in the apartment, so owners receive a finished home rather than a hallway of boxes.
