WHAT FF&E PROCUREMENT ACTUALLY COVERS
FF&E stands for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment. Everything that furnishes a space but isn’t permanent built-in architecture. Sofas, beds, dining tables, desks, lighting, rugs, soft furnishings, art, accessories, and in hospitality, commercial equipment like coffee machines, bedroom minibars, and restaurant cutlery.
Specification
Every item documented with product code, finish, dimensions, supplier, lead time, and cost.
Sourcing
Finding the right supplier, verifying stock, negotiating lead times.
Ordering and tracking
purchase orders, deposit schedules, production tracking.
Quality control
Every item inspected on arrival, damage flagged, wrong items rejected.
Logistics
Freight, customs clearance, warehousing, scheduled delivery timed to site readiness.
Installation
